Lila I. Burgess

Lila I. Burgess, age 80, of Deckerville, died Friday May 9, 2014 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born July 12, 1933 in Bridgehampton Township, the daughter of the late Thomas and Myrtle (DeLong) Burgess. She is survived by one brother, Tom (Colleen) Burgess of Croswell, one sister Mrs. Ethel (Gene) Bopra of Sandusky, one sister-in-law Dianne Burgess of Carsonville and one brother-in-law Tom Barr of Carsonville, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Jean Brabant, Myrtle Essenmacher, Alice Barr, Dorothy Burgess and one brother Doug Burgess. Burial has taken place in the Downing Cemetery, Deckerville.
