Linda D. Colter

Linda D. Colter, age 87, of Deckerville, died Monday November 11, 2013 in Deckerville Community Hospital. She was born March 15, 1926 in Carsonville, the daughter of the late Carl and Dorothea (Albrecht) Westphal. She married Loren J. Colter on September 28, 1946 in Port Sanilac. He preceded in death on November 29, 1987 Mrs. Colter was a member of Forester United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, gardening, and wintering in Florida. Linda is survived by her son, Clark (Wendy) Colter of AZ., one grandson Michael Colter also of AZ., her sister-in-law Shirley Westphal of Port Sanilac, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Linda Colter will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Ellen Schippert will officiate. Burial will be in Forester Cemetery.
