Lorraine Kenny

Lorraine C. Kenny, age 77, of Deckerville, died Sunday January 8, 2012 in the Sanilac Medical Care Facility. She was born June 28, 1934 in Bridgehampton Township, the daughter of the late William and Berla (Spencer) Lancaster. She married Gerald W. Kenny on September 5, 1953 in Sandusky. He preceded in death on May 9, 2004. Lorraine was a former employee of PlastaCoat of Deckerville. She was a member of the McGregor Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, out of doors activities, social events and traveling. She is survived by one son Gerald (Brandy) Kenny Jr. of Lexington, three grandchildren, Austin, Jordan and Brianna Kenny, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Lancaster and Arthur Lancaster. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Lorraine C. Kenny will be 11:00 AM., Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home, Pastor Jerry Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery.
