She is survived by her beloved husband, David Shuman, cherished by her four children, Jeanette Marcoux, Judy Spies, Beverly Gates and Susan Spies. Lorraine (GG) adored her 10 grandchildren, her 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Lorraine was a strong, spirited and vibrant woman who was full of life. Her favorite color was red, fitting for her spunk and feisty personality. Lorraine loved dancing, especially polka and always loved taking walks. Lorraine was known for her lead foot whether skirting around town for a Kmart shopping trip or grabbing an evening bingo game. Lorraine was the true definition of a mother, both in her loving and nurturing ways. She loved to be around babies, cherished spending time with her family, especially all her grand & great-grandchildren, family cookouts and get-togethers. Lorraine was loved and cherished by so many, but her most cherished and vital person in her life was her husband Dave Shuman; sharing 47 years of marriage. From a double date 50 years ago, travels around the world, and “till death do us part”, Lorraine and Dave created a love story that is touching to all who know them.
