Luella W. Cole of Deckerville, died Friday, January 3, 2014. She was born April 14, 1911, the daughter of Frank and Rose (Tipley) Wagner, and grew up in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. In 1929 she was married to Elmer Goller in Milwaukee, residing there until 1944. After the sudden death of her husband in 1939, she moved to Michigan and married Charles Cole in 1944. She and Charlie farmed near McGregor until their retirement. Luella attended McGregor United Methodist Church. She was an active member in the neighborhood Helping Hand Club and was an avid quilter. Luella was a loving mother and will be remembered by son and daughter-in-law Richard and Joyce Goller, daughter Irene Cole, all of Deckerville, and daughter-in-law Diana Cole of Sanford. Also, remembering her are grandsons, Mark Goller and R. Ryan Cole, granddaughters Cindy (Paul) Badgerow, Bonnie (John) Warczinsky, Jody (Tom) Obee and Shannon (Ben) Tigner, fifteen grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Helen, husbands, Elmer Goller, (1939) and Charles Cole, (1998), son Robert Cole (2011), brother Lukas Wagner, brother-in-law Sam Cole and sister-in-law Ann Meyers. Funeral services for Luella W. Cole will be 1:00 PM., Monday January 6, 2014 in the McGregor United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM., until the time of service on Monday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Robert Charles Cole Foundation 6419 Water Rd.
