Margaret "Peggy" Ann Braun

MARGARET "PEGGY" ANN BRAUN, age 84, a lifelong resident of Richmond, died Friday, February 1, 2013 after an extended illness. She was born January 31, 1929 in Richmond to the late Henry & Margaret (Campbell) Ruff. Peggy married James Braun on August 9, 1948 in Indiana. She was a graduate of Richmond High School in 1947 and St. Clair Community College in 1977 with her LPN degree. Peggy worked for several years at the Medilodge of Richmond. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond, enjoyed traveling and fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James; four daughters, Susan (James) Schulz of Grand Haven, Dottie (John) Clark of Capac, Sandra (David) Moore of East China and Debbie Fuerstenau of Richmond; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael H. Braun in December 2008, a brother, William Ruff and a son-in-law, Joel Fuerstenau in March 2003. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 3, 2013 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Richmond with visitation from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the family.
