Margaret D. Goniwiecha

Margaret Doreen Goniwiecha, born February 26, 1941, passed away on December 25, 2023.  She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Schultz and Joseph Booms, Jr.  Margaret married the late Leslie Voorheis in 1961 and had 2 children; Leslie preceded her in death in 1964 and she then married the late Raymond Goniwiecha in 1965 and had five children.  She is survived by her children,Timothy (Elizabeth) Voorheis, Laura (Donald) Wolverton, David (Michelle) Goniwiecha, Karen Cooley, John (Leslie) Gonway, Joseph (Kim) Goniwiecha & Stephen (Rachel) Goniwiecha, and 13 grandchildren.  Margaret loved her nursing career and decided to donate her body to Wayne State University.
