Margaret Jacobson

Margaret N. Jacobson, age 88, of Deckerville, formerly of Bessemer, MI., joined her loved ones in their heavenly home on Tuesday March 6, 2012. She was born January 2, 1924 in Ramsay, MI., the daughter of the late William and Bonibel (Marvin) Brockbank. She married Floyd Jacobson on December 30, 1943 in Bessemer. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1979. Mrs. Jacobson enjoyed along with her family, gardening, canning, sewing, knitting, crocheting, cooking and baking. She is survived by two daughters, and sons-in-law, Sharon and Clifford Black of Flint, Marleen and John Nezworski of Deckerville, four grandchildren, Michelle and Jim Haist of Burton, Deanna and Scott Maher of Mt. Morris, Kristie and Scott Zimmerman of Schoolcraft and Kevin and Jennifer Nezworski of Baltimore, MD., nine great grandchildren, sister-in-law Jean Maki of Bessemer, MI., several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, her parents, two sisters, and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Margaret N. Jacobson will be 3:00 PM., Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church, Palms, MI. Reverend Henry Hales will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bessemer, MI. Visitation will be 4:00 PM., until 8:00 PM., Saturday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church, or family discretionary fund.
