Marie Alvina Kerbyson, age 90, of Palms, passed away Tuesday December 11, 2012 in Autumnwood of Deckerville.
She was born May 16, 1922 in Delaware Township, the daughter of the late Otto and Ella (Ullman) Wendt.
She married Charles Kerbyson on September 5, 1942 in Ruth, MI., he preceded in death August 1, 1981.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, playing Bingo, traveling, dancing, and her grandkids.
Mrs. Kerbyson is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor (Ron) Klaus of Palms, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two brothers Otto (Alma) Wendt of Swartz Creek, Carl Wendt of Corunna, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son Edward, one grandson Kevin, and two infant grandsons, Richard Klaus, and Charles Kerbyson, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rudolph and Florence Wendt and Frederick and Ruby Wendt and one sister-in-law Mrs. Martha Thompson.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Marie Alvina Kebyson, will be 11:00 AM., Saturday in St. John Lutheran Church, Palms, Pastor Henry Hales will officiate. Burial will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM., Friday in the Apsey Funeral Home, and from 10:00 AM., until the time of service at church on Saturday.
Memorials may be given to the St. John Ladies Aid or St. John Cemetery Fund.
