Marjorie M. Howard

Marjorie (Maria) Howard, age 75, 0r Harrodsburg, KY formerly of Deckerville, died Friday June 24, 2022, in the home of her daughter. She was born October 24, 1946, in Clarksville, TN the daughter of the late Carney and Katherine (Baggett) Rose. She married Burton Howard on March 18, 1994, in Deckerville. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2004. Maria enjoyed being outside, gardening and cooking. She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Jerry) Sober of Parisville, Sara Lane of TN, Barbara (dale) Gilmore of KY; one son Gene Powell of Midland; 14 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Marshal Rose. Funeral services for Marjorie Howard will be Tuesday July 5, 2022, in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jed Willis will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM. Memorials may be given to the family.
