Marvin Allen Plagens

Marvin Allen Plagens, 89, of Columbus Twp., passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 31, 2025 with his family at his side. Marvin was born September 7, 1936 to the late Arthur and Ethel Plagens. Marvin is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Plagens of 63 years and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Raymond, Stanley, Elroy, Grace, Aleta, Francis ( Na Dean), and Inez. Marvin loved spending time with family even though he wasn’t blessed with having his own children he treated his nieces and nephews as his own. He was a truck driver for many years, starting out with his brothers, Elroy and Stanley hauling milk. Then he took over as owner and operator of Marvin Plagens hauling milk, filling pools, running gravel train until he was age 79. Marv enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing.

A visitation will be 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Peshek Family Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
