Mary Lietka

Mary Jane Lietka, age 68, of McGregor, died Sunday, March 8, 2009, in Deckerville Community Hospital. She was born June 24, 1940 in Detroit. Mary Jane was a former employee of Irene?s Restaurant in Deckerville for several years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and watching Wheel of Fortune. She loved to be with her grandchildren. Ms. Lietka is survived by one son Richard (Connie) Lietka of Carsonville, one daughter Garnet Lietka of McGregor, four grandchildren, and one great grandchild, two brothers, Godfred Lossing of Detroit, Charles Lossing of East Tawas, five sisters, Rose Mary Evans of Flint, Louella Davis,Ruth Ann Genoff, and Diane Buretta all of Ubly and Kay Gerstenburger of Sandusky, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother Bernard Lossing. A private family gathering has taken place with burial in the Downing Cemetery.
