Marybelle Dumaw

Marybelle Dumaw, age 86, went to be with her heavenly family under hospice care on November 14, 2012. Marybelle married Burton M. Dumaw in March 1946 in Pinnebog. They moved to Minden City December 6, 1952 to farm and raise their family. Burton died in March 1982. She is survived by one son Verne (Jane) Dumaw, daughter-in-law, Shirley Dumaw, daughters Linda Dumaw, and Colleen (Bob) Gatzke, son-in-law Bernie Creguer, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Berdene Smith of Florida. She was preceded in death by one daughter Susan B. Dumaw May 2010 and one son Dale E. Dumaw June 2011. Marybelle retired from the Minden City Post Office as a clerk and Sanilac County Health Department as a vision technician. She also taught school and worked at a bank in Bad Axe early in her marriage. Marybelle enjoyed her family, winters in Florida, playing cards and dominoes, sewing, reading and traveling. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Marybelle Dumaw will be held at 4:00 PM., Sunday November 25, 2012 in the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Henry Hails will officiate. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of service on Sunday. Cremation has taken place.
