Mayble E. Cripps

Mayble E. Cripps On Aug. 30, 2016, Mayble Elisabeth Cripps joined her beloved husband, Wallace, in heaven. Mayble was born on Jan. 5, 1919 in Detroit, MI, to Park F. Abbott and Marie Katherine Wertz Abbott. Mayble married Wallace T. Cripps in 1941. Mayble was employed at Brookside Elementary, Cranbrook Educational Community, Bloomfield Hills, MI. After retirement, they relocated to Mount Dora, FL. In 2013, they moved to Jacksonville, FL, where they both made their journey to eternity. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara and her husband Robert Tracy of Gainesville, GA, a son, Todd and his wife Vicki Cripps of Jacksonville, FL, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great grandsons. Services were held in Jacksonville, FL. Memorial donations to the Wallace T. Cripps Scholarship Fund, Brookside School Cranbrook, 550 S. Cranbrook Rd., Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301 are appreciated.
