Michael L. Lester

Michael L. Lester, age 67, of Deckerville, died on Friday February 13, 2026, in his home. He was born on October 20, 1958, in Port Huron. He attended Port Huron High School and after graduation he joined the US Army where he became a Tank Mechanic serving in Germany. After being discharged from the Army he worked for Detroit Edison as a lumber jack in the Ludington area. Later he and his wife Kristy moved to Deckerville where he worked for Deckerville Die-Form. Michael was a boxer during his time in the Army and was an avid hunter and woodworker. He is survived by his wife Kristy; one son Michael R. Lester of Marlette; two daughters Melissa Crory of Port Huron and Jessica M. Cox of OH; one grandson, Theron Crorey; several brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by one brother Danny Hutchinson. There will be no visitation or service for Michael Lester. Cremation has taken place.
