Minnie M. Siegert

Minnie M. Siegert, age 93, of Deckerville, died Tuesday August 13, 2013 in Deckerville Community Hospital. She was born November 2, 1919 in Forestville, the daughter of the late Otto and Anne (Hoffman) Siegert. In 1953 Minnie worked as a missionary for Bible Christian Union in Brooklyn, NY., until 1972, when she moved to Lebanon, PA., and continued working for Bible Christian Union as a printer. She retired to Deckerville in 1984. Minnie was a member of the Deckerville Bible Church since 1985. Miss. Siegert is survived by her church family. She was preceded in death by her brother Edward Siegert on July 7, 1981 and her sister Miss. Helen Siegert on January 31, 2002. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Minnie M. Siegert will be 11:00 AM., Thursday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Homan will officiate. Burial will be in East Delaware Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM., until the time of service on Thursday.
