Nancy L Fritch

Nancy L. Fritch, age 75, of Deckerville passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born July 7, 1947, in Cass City, Michigan, the daughter of Harold and Fran Cowley. She married James W. Fritch on September 22, 1973 in Cash, Michigan. She was a member of the East Marion Baptist Church and was a very devoted Christian. She enjoyed the outdoors tending to her flower beds, attending her grandchildren's sporting events and visiting with family and friends. Mrs. Fritch is survived by five sons and daughters-in-law: John (Terry) Fritch of Deckerville; Joe (Cindy) Fritch of Grayling, James A. (Renay) Fritch of Bay City, Jason (Lisa) Fritch of Deckerville and Darin (Tara) Fritch of Deckerville and 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, two brothers Dale Cowley (Karen Petteys), Paul (Elaine) Cowley, four sisters-in-law Lois Wiska, Lois Fritch, Rennie (Art) Hooper, Diane (Rev. Bill Boldt), and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years James W. Fritch, her parents Harold (Fran) Cowley, sister Sharon (Gordon) Landsburg, brothers-in-law Ron Fritch, Gene Wiska, John Merriman and sister-in-law Janet Merriman. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM. Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Slivka will officiate. Burial will be in the Forester Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to East Marion Baptist Church or Deckerville Educational Foundation.
