Nancy Marie Kain

Nancy Marie Kain, 95, of Casco, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at leisure Manor in Richmond. Nancy was born November 21, 1930 in Pigeon, MI to the late Walter and Lena Wichert. Nancy is survived by her children, Diana Colley and Jeffrey (Beth) Kain, grandchildren, Heather Skinner, Jonathan Holzapfel, Pat (Alicia) Colley, Bri Colley, David Kulman, Holly Kulman, Nikki Helzer and Jake (Arden) Kain, 12 great grandchildren, brothers, Donald (Delsi) Wichert and Robert Wichert, brother-in-law, Sherman Stevens and sister-in-law, Lou Wichert. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jed Kain and daughter, Kathy Holzapfel. Nancy was a long-time member and very involved at the First United Methodist Church in Richmond. She loved taking long walks with Jed, her late husband, and baking for all of the grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed sewing and watching the Wheel of Fortune.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Service on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the First United Methodist Church, 69495 Main St., Richmond, MI 48062.
