Nina E. Pitcher

Nina E. Pitcher, age 86, of Wheatland Township, died Wednesday June 28, 2023, in her home after a long battle with cancer. She was born August 28, 1936, in Sandusky the daughter of the late Everett and Dorothy (Smith) McFarlane. She married Frank C. Pitcher on September 4, 1954, in McGregor. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1996. Many students at Deckerville Community Schools will remember Nina as their bus driver over several years and as a linotype operator for Buhl Publishing. Nina is survived by three sons and two daughters, James, Gerald, Terry, Tina and Janice; and one sister Mrs. Mary Catherine Mosher.
