Robert Burnham

Robert L. Burnham, age 92, of Deckerville, died Wednesday July 29, 2009 in his home. He was born September 13, 1916 in Detroit, the son of the late John and Anna (Molkowski) Burnham. He married Miss. Gloria Chaffee on February 1, 1947 in Detroit. She preceded in death on January 19, 1999. Mr. Burnham served in the US Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. He was a retired carpenter for the Chrysler Corp. He loved gardening and wood working. He is survived by one son Gregory Burnham of Sandusky, two grandchildren, Bambi (David) Hile of Caro, Robert G. (Rosie) Burnham of Calif., two great grandchildren, Crystal Ann Condo and Brandi Rose Condo both of Caro, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. A chapel service will take place at 11: 00 AM Friday in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Twp., with military honors.
