Robert Kirkpatrick

Robert C. Kirkpatrick, age 70, of Deckerville, died Thursday June 18, 2009 in Port Huron Hospital. He was born February 9, 1939 in Bad Axe, the son of the late Robert M. and Eleanor (Philpot) Kirkpatrick. He married Miss. Bonnie King on July 22, 1959 in Croswell. Robert was a life long area farmer; he served in the US Army, and enjoyed fox hunting and wildlife in general. He especially liked to be with his wife, children, grandchildren, and his two great grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Bonnie of Deckerville, two sons Chuck (Karen) Kirkpatrick of Sandusky, Douglas (Maureen) Kirkpatrick of Deckerville, two daughters Deborah (Daniel) Woodard of Sandusky, Kathy (Brian) Smith of Midland, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Marcia (Glen) Taylor of Charlevoix, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Robert C. Kirkpatrick will be 11:00 AM. Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home, Rev. Jerry Griggs will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8:00 PM. Sunday Memorials may be given to the McGregor Methodist Church or the Deckerville Community Hospital.
