Robert John Pronek, age 80, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at McLaren Macomb Hospital. Born on January 13, 1946, Robert was the beloved son of the late John Pronek and Lulu (Bill) Boiaroff. He was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Sandra Pronek, with whom he shared many wonderful years of marriage. Robert leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his daughters, Tammy (William) Greene, Tracy (Derek) Montgomery, and Tonya (Brian) Walmsley; his grandchildren, Zachary Bonk, Noah Bonk, Benjamin Walmsley, Maxwell Montgomery (Maria Klosterman), and Madelyn Walmsley. Robert proudly served his country for a short time in the United States Army, a commitment that reflected his deep sense of duty, service, and patriotism. After moving to Richmond five years ago, he quickly became a familiar face throughout the community. Whether cruising through town in his beloved golf cart or lending a helping hand to a friend or neighbor, Robert was known for his generous heart, kind spirit, and willingness to help anyone in need. An avid sports enthusiast, Robert especially enjoyed cheering on Tigers, Lions, and MSU Spartans. He also had a passion for collecting memorabilia and delighted in searching for hidden treasures at garage sales, rarely passing up the opportunity to see what he might find. Above all, Robert will be remembered as a generous, loving, and caring man who found joy in his family, his friends, and the simple pleasures of life. His kindness, humor, and giving nature touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
