Robert L. Washe

Robert L. Washe, age 86, of Carsonville, died Tuesday October 19, 2021 in Stonegate Village Assisted Living Facility, Sandusky. He was born June 16, 1935, the son of the late John and Barbara (Lux) Washe. Bob grew up in the Carsonville area and attended Carsonville High School graduating in 1953. He was a veteran of the US Army serving from February 1956 until November 1957. On April 4, 1959, he married Miss. Marlene Walker in Carsonville. She preceded him in death on March 25, 2020. He was a lifelong area farmer in Sanilac Township. He liked to Hunt and attend local ball games. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Sandusky. Mr. Washe is survived by four sons, Charles (Tonia) Washe of Port Huron, Thomas (Sandy) Washe of Port Sanilac, Andrew (Christine) Washe of Forester, and Christopher (Norlene) Washe of Carsonville; god-daughter Tammy (Rod) Allbee of Mt. Pleasant; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday October 30, 2021, in the Old St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Carsonville-Port Sanilac Athletic Boosters.
