Ronald B. Todd

Ronald B. Todd, age 74, of Deckerville, died Friday June 20, 2014 in his home. He was born January 8, 1940 in Highland Park, MI, the son of the late Brent and Ann Belle (Hughes) Todd. He married Donna Barr on August 30, 1958 in Madison Heights. Ron was a veteran of the US Army. He was a retired accident free truck driver. After his retirement he worked as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, and drove beet trucks for some of the area farmers. He enjoyed helping his neighbors whenever he could. Ron is survived by his wife Donna Todd of Deckerville, two sons, Gary (Theresa) Todd of Roseville, Jeffery Lee (Lynette) Todd of Waterford, one daughter Tamara Lyn (Todd) Coakly of Madison Heights, one daughter-in-law Cathy Todd of Bad Axe, eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one brother Robert Todd of Belleville, and one sister Patricia Jones of Chesterfield Township. He was preceded in death by one son Michael D. Todd, one daughter Jennifer A. Todd and Savanna his great granddaughter. Funeral Services to celebrate the life of Ronald B. Todd will be 4:00 PM. Tuesday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Pastor Jed Willis will officiate. Visitation 1:00-4:00 PM., Tuesday. Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
