Rosa Alfaro De Melgoza

Rosa Alfaro De Melgoza, 61, of Washington Twp., passed away July 16, 2025 at Corewell Health Troy Beaumont Hospital. Rosa was born December 15, 1963 to Jose Guadalupe Alfaro Rios and Consuelo Alfaro Naranjo. Rosa is survived by her children, Laura (Jose) Gonzalez, Maria Erika (Carlos) Gonzalez. Maria Cruz (Jose Luis) Melgoza Alveraz and Andrea Melgoza, grandchildren, Jessica (Jose Luis Gamez), Nayeli, Marlene, Alex and Analeah Gonzalez, Juliana, Daniel, Jesse and Eric Melgoza, siblings, Juana, Yolanda, Gabriela, Lidia, Martha, Maria Guadalupe, Beatriz, Lourdes, Maria, Jaime, Heriberto and Fernando. Rosa’s greatest accomplishment was her family. She loved to cook so her family could come over to eat and spend time together. She also enjoyed visiting friends listening to music and dancing, gardening and praying.

Visitation will be from 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 6:30 on Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Rewalt-Peshek Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at St. Francis-St. Maximilian, 62811 New Haven Rd., Ray, MI 48096.
