Roy L. Rich, age 52 of Deckerville, died Monday October 5, 2009 in Port Huron Mercy Hospital. He was born June 13, 1957 in Deckerville, the son of the late Henry and Virginia (Silk) Rich. He married Miss. Cynthia Hartman on March 3, 1984 in Port Huron. Roy enjoyed collecting things, fishing and his family. He is survived by his wife Cynthia of Deckerville, one step-son Everett Smith of Bad Axe, two daughters, Misty (Chad) Buzinski of South Branch, Beth (Bob) Levert of Deckerville, six grandchildren, one sister Ms. Sandra Carlson of Deckerville and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Roy L. Rich will be 11:00 AM., Thursday in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Rev. Jerry Griggs will officiate. Cremation will take place in Sunset Valley Crematory. Visitation will be 2-5 & 7-9 PM. Wednesday Memorials may be given to the family discretionary fund.
