Sandra Lee LaFuente

Sandra Lee LaFuente, of Livonia, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025 at home, surrounded by the love of family. A daughter of the late Arnold and Mildred (Gatchell) Timmer, she was born February 25, 1945 in Wyandotte, Michigan. She was united in marriage to Octaviano J. “Tony” LaFuente, Jr. on September 5, 1970 at St. Paul Church in Livonia. Sandy loved horses and enjoyed gardening, especially rose gardens. She worked for many years as a Training Manager for Burger King Corporate Offices. Sandy is survived by her children, Domingo (Tina Joy) Nieto and Christina LaFuente; grandchildren, Lorin, Savannah, Nicholas and Schyler; and great-grandchildren, Natalia, Oakley, Raelynn, Wyatt, Carter, Keenan, Harper, Leighton and Aubrie. She was predeceased by her husband in 1998 and a sister, Sharon Jean Fields.

Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Peshek Family Funeral Home, 68655 Stoecker Lane, Richmond, MI 48062.
