Sandra M. Lee

Sandra Marie Lee, 82, of Deckerville, MI, went home to be with Jesus on April 7, 2025, at the Marlette Hospice Residence after her battle with cancer.

She was born July 4, 1944, to the late William and Nettie (Senshuk) Nicholson in Detroit, MI. After receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, she moved to Deckerville in 1966. Sandy had a strong faith in God and a deep love for her family and country. Everyone who knew her said that her blood ran “red, white, and blue.” Sandy was very family-oriented. She loved making cookies for the grandkids and spent hours playing games with them. You could always find her at any event that her kids and grandchildren participated in.

Sandy is survived by her 2 children, Brenda (William) Thompson, and Dennis (Sara) Lee. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Benjamin (Jessye), Abigail (Jonathon), Matthew, Eliza (Brandon), Jonathan (Aliandra), Miranda (fiance Shane), Rachel (fiance Nate), Cassidy (fiance Tyler), Ellinor, and Edith. She is blessed with having 12 great-grandchildren and another one on the way. Holland, Titus, George, Heidi, Race, Tate, Pheobe, Delilah, Weston, Truman, Russel, and Valerin. She is also survived by 1 brother, Micheal (Sharon) Nicholson.

Cremation has taken place through the Apsey Funeral Home. Upon Sandy’s request, no service will be held. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette
