Sandra Kay Trigger, age 55, of Carsonville, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 15, 2010 at Port Huron Hospital after a 35 year hard fought battle with cancer. She was born January 25, 1955 in Pontiac the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary (Truax) Brazaski. She married Gary Trigger on June 23, 1990 in Willow Grove, PA. She attended Mills Rd. Gospel Hall in Deckerville, MI. She enjoyed her grandchildren and family, scrap booking, crafts, camping, Blue Grass music, cartoons, and was an avid reader. Her mission in life was making the lives of others more enriched and fulfilled. She was an American Cancer Society Ambassador, and was involved in the Relay for Life, United Hospice, Sanilac Literacy, Red Hat Society, Sandusky Hospital Auxiliary and a Deckerville Library Volunteer. Having been welcomed into the Lords arms, as a unique person, she will be missed. Sandra is survived by her husband Gary of Carsonville, one son, Kevin (Sue) Trigger of Palms, two daughters, Mrs. Pamela (Allen) Goeddey of IA., and Mrs. Shannon (Todd) Evans of MO., Nine grandchildren, one brother John Brazaski of Lake Ann, three sisters, Mrs. Marilyn Twissleman of CA., Mrs. Mary Lou Fox of Knoxville, TN., and Mrs. Nancy Smart of Luther, two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Sharon Isom of Sandusky and Mrs. Darlene (Jerome) Lyons of Roscommon, and several nieces and nephews, and best friend Mrs. Maggie Tramel of Pontiac. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Sandra Kay Trigger will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Mr. William Metcalf and Mr. Barry Brinker will officiate. Burial will be in Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-9:00 PM., Sunday. Memorial may be given to the family discretionary fund. Condolences may be sent to apseyfuneralhome.net
