Sherry E. Ellis

Sherry E. Ellis, age 76, of Deckerville, died Thursday December 10, 2020 in Autumnwood of Deckerville. She was born November 1, 1944 in Berea, OH., the daughter of the late Harold and Anna (Owens) Elwin. Sherry grew up in Romulus and attended Romulus High School class of 1963. She was a former employee of Huron Shores Golf Club, Midwest Rubber Company, Plastacoat, Clements Manufacturing and retired from Autumnwood Nursing Home after 20 years. Sherry enjoyed painting, picnics, and seeing friends at the Corner Café. She is survived by one son, Mark (Lori) Ellis of Rochester Hills and one daughter Kathy Ellis of AZ., six grandchildren, Matthew Lee, James Ellis, Emily Ellis, Ruth Ellis, Ben Ellis, and Carolyn Ellis. She was preceded in death by one brother James L. Elwin. A graveside service will be held to honor the life of Sherry Ellis on Tuesday December 15, 2020 at 1:00 PM., in the Downing Cemetery.
