Shirley Kriel

Shirley J. Kriel, age 72, of Frankenmuth, died October 21, 2011 in St. Mary Hospital, Saginaw. She was born December 20, 1938 in Charleston, S.C., the daughter of the late C.L., and Lillie Adams. She married Joseph A. Kriel on November 25, 1959 in Jacksonville, FL., he preceded in death on July 21, 2005. Mrs. Kriel enjoyed reading, collecting Thomas Kinkade lighthouses, and people watching. She is survived by one son, Joseph Kriel of FL., two daughters, Debra Kriel of Deford, and Dawn (David) Dombrowski of Croswell, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Inez Nesmith of FL., two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by one sister Mrs. Leila Hall. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Shirley J. Kriel will be 1:00 PM. Sunday in the Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth.
