Suzanne Lou Hoornstra, 76, of Richmond, died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Medilodge of Richmond. Suzanne was born on July 30, 1949 to the late William and Dolores Spicer. Suzanne is survived by her children, Tina Gross of Richmond and Benjamin Hoornstra of Carsonville, and siblings, Carrie Spicer of Richmond and Robert (Laura) Spicer of St. Clair. She is preceded in death by her brother William Spicer and sister-in-law Penny Spicer. Suzanne was a resident of Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School in 1967. She enjoyed reading, science fiction movies and books, word games and playing euchre.
Cremation has taken place and the burial will be at Richmond Cemetery.
