Theodore Lizak

Ted Lizak, age 78, of Deckerville, died Friday May 9, 2008 in Covenant Health Care Facility, Saginaw. He was born February 5, 1930 in Hamtramck the son of the late Stephan and Anna (Gomulka) Lizak. He married Shirley Hoppenthal in 1958. She preceded in death in 1967. He then married Marie Sweet in 1969. Ted enjoyed hunting, fishing, and woodworking. He loved to be with his family and helping others. He is survived by his wife Marie of Deckerville, four sons, Theodore J. Lizak of Flint, Michael S. (Lori) Lizak of Fla., Rodney R. (Vicki) Lizak of Marquette, Lowell Noble of CA., one daughter Kristine S. (Jason) Raasch of MN., and seven grandchildren He was preceded in death by one brother Henry, and two sisters, Lucy and Helen. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ted Lizak will be 11:00 AM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home, your ?Legacy of Life? funeral home. Fr. Paul Bala will officiate. Visitation will be 2-7 PM., Sunday in the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Assoc.
