Trayton Junior Gough

Trayton Junior (Jr.) Gough, Marion County, Florida, previously a Bridgehampton Township resident in the Carsonville area, passed away Thursday, April 4, after a short illness. Trayton was born at home (McGregor), on June 26, 1924 to Trayton and Agnes (Reid) Gough. He married Dolores (Wisienski) on December 20, 1950, in Deckerville. He was a proud farmer for decades who enjoyed being outdoors in the fresh air. He moved to Florida as a full time resident in 1986 to start a career as a citrus farmer, where he lived in the middle of the citrus grove. Surviving are his two sons, William (Christine) of Bay City and Trayton John (TJ) (Koko) of Altoona, Fl. Five grandchildren, Wil (Stacey) Gough of Mayville, Cindy (Daniel) Vincent of California, Sandi (Kevin) Junker of Colorado, Kristie (Corey) Baer of Deckerville and Nikki (Jerry) LaRue of Summerville, TN. Great Grandchildren, Kyle, Gabe, Lucas, Lana, Maximus, Laura, Ryan, Trevor, Tyler, Austin, and Alyssa. He is also survived by two sisters, Lucy (Carl) Scott and Agnes (DeDe) (Don) Wallanus, two sisters-in-law, Laura (Reed) Gough and Ruth (Stewart) Armstead, and several nieces and nephews. Trayton was predeceased by his wife Dolores on March 25, 2009, two brothers Reed Gough, and John Gough, two sisters, Alma Jean Freiburger, and Geraldine Gough. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Trayton Junior Gough, will be held at 11:00 AM., Saturday, April 20, 2013 in the Apsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Downing Cemetey.
