Victor C. Decker

Victor C. Decker, age 82, of Deckerville, went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2014 in the United Hospice Facility, Marlette. He was born August 22, 1931 in Deckerville, the son of the late Charles and Alice (Hooper) Decker. He married Miss. Helen Anderson on January 25, 1958 in Deckerville. Vic owned and operated Decker Roofing, Painting, and Tree along with his wife. They enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Florida. He is survived by his wife Helen of Deckerville, two brothers, Elton Decker of Livonia, Dale (Yvonne) Decker of Jackson, one sister, Lois Wielenga of Jackson, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Victor C. Decker will be 11:00 AM. Tuesday February 25, 2014 In the Apsey Funeral Home. Rev. Doug Richardson will officiate. Burial will be in the Downing Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-8:00 PM., Monday in the Apsey Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to United Hospice.
