Winifred B. Bungart

Winifred B. Bungart, age 96, of Deckerville, passed away on March 8, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born to William and Pauline (Warner) Miller of Sandusky on August 5,1922. Winnie married John Bungart on August 30, 1946. They farmed together for over 50 years and raised their family on the farm on Stone Rd. She was a member of St. Patrick/St. Isidore Catholic church of Palms. Winifred is survived by 6 children, Helen (Larry) Warczinsky, Palms; Wanda (Duane) Kursinsky, Sandusky; Barbara (Pete) Darling, Zoe, KY; John (Karen) Bungart, Deckerville; Peter Bungart, Flagstaff, AZ; and Chris (Tina) Bungart, Deckerville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John, son Gerald and grandson Douglas and her brothers Wilford (Betty) Miller and Max (Elaine) Miller and her sisters and brothers-in-law. Services will be held on March 11, 2019 at 11 am at St. Patrick's St Isidore church, Palms. Visitation is 9 am until the time of service at the church. Father Charlie Hammond will officiate.
